Dezeen Showroom: Italian furniture brand Miniforms has introduced new versions of its Container sideboard, designed by E-ggs to make an impact through colour blocking.
ContainerUP and ContainerMID are taller versions of the original horizontal Container design, taking the cabinet up to 134.5 centimetres and 95 centimetres in height respectively.
There are also four new bold colours being introduced for the lacquered body finish, including the pale blue Nuvola and bright rust orange Mattone.
With its robust design, the Container collection has a modern industrial aesthetic that can either be heightened through the application of colour or softened through the use of one of the four wood finishes.
The body, legs and top can be customised in different finishes to create a colour-blocking effect, with additional options of marble or porcelain stoneware for the top.
“By growing taller, [Container] becomes compact yet spacious, with a strong decorative side expressed in blocks of colour,” said Miniforms. “Whether lacquered or in natural wood, a high impact is guaranteed.”
