Redesign of the SickKids 7A Ward
The CDN team was tasked with redesigning the SickKids 7A ward to better treat children at risk to themselves or others, while reducing one-on-one patient to healthcare worker time. The 15-bed mental health unit serves patients aged 8 to 18 with eating disorders (ie. anorexia, bulimia, binge disorder, etc.) or major psychiatric illnesses. The resulting hospital environment is less than perfect for the needs of these young patients.

RingBall was an innovative catch and throw game invented and designed in Canada and manufactured in Taiwan. The product was successfully marketed across North America and enjoyed by all ages. We believe RingBall may represent a new classic Canadian toy.

The Directive Collective
Fila Shocket Run/Train Platform
The Directive Collective was engaged by Fila Sport Europe to plan, design, develop and execute a new performance & lifestyle running collection. The Directive Collective was responsible for all upper design, colorway and material specifications, outsole design and development in addition to exploring product graphics and branding. The Fila Shocket Run/Train platform was purposefully designed with a uniquely modern, performance-focused geometry, materializations and construction in mind.

NCR 7760 Single Pocket Proof Encoder
The proof machine is a customer programmable stand alone single pocket unit used in financial institutions for the processing of documents generated in normal banking operations. It is used to verify or prove the accuracy of accounting documents against their associated cheques.The operator enters the document from a document tray into the transport and then enters the associated data.
