CDN proudly supports the following organizations, which are dedicated to advancing the field of design in Canada.

Association of Chartered Industrial Designers of Ontario

ACIDO is an association of accredited Industrial Designers in Ontario formed to develop and promote the profession. The discipline needs a community at its centre to facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practices, the advancement of our shared values and growth opportunities for the Industrial Design workforce.

Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario

Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) is a self-regulatory professional organization for interior designers in Ontario, Canada. It is the only recognized professional organization for interior designers in Ontario. ARIDO has over 3,300 members who represent all areas of interior design, including corporate, residential, retail, hospitality, and institutional design.

Association of Registered Graphic Designers

The Association of Registered Graphic Designers (RGD) is Canada’s largest professional association for graphic designers. Through the RGD, Canadian designers exchange ideas, educate and inspire, set professional standards and build a strong, supportive community dedicated to advocating for the value of design.

Ontario Association of Landscape Architects

The OALA Mission is to promote, improve and advance the profession of Landscape Architecture and maintain standards of professional practice and conduct consistent with the need to serve and to protect the public interest.

Fashion Industry Advisory Panel

The City of Toronto’s Fashion Industry Advisory Panel (FIAP) was created by the City of Toronto in 2018 with a mandate to provide advice and support to the City of Toronto on fashion industry issues and opportunities to promote the long-term viability of Toronto’s fashion and apparel sector.
